Today was an exiting day at Beaker's Parrot Place. Piper, took his FIRST round-trip solo fight and Jeremy and I caught it on video!!! Pipe will soon be going home to Patty Lynch, his new flock leader, in Hayden, Idaho. Check out this video - it's a 13 second clip that captures this very speedy and intentional guy.
It is AMAZING to me just how quickly parrots seemingly grow up and just how quickly I can loose my heart to one of them... Saying good-bye to one of our 'bappies' is always a challenge for me.
